          Who Is Barack Obama?

          Barack Obama was the 44th president of the United States and the first Black commander-in-chief.

          He served two terms, from 2009 until 2017. The son of parents from Kenya and Kansas, Obama was born and raised in Hawaii.

          This Sunday's edition of “The Contender” will focus on Najai “Nitro” Turpin, the boxer who killed himself last month before the series' debut.
