This was huge for me because, as a Filipino, I had a set of rules for myself that didn't apply to others.

A limiting belief that says I have to work twice as hard to get half what others get, and never have what they were born with - the freedom to see the world.

Becoming a Portuguese resident proved me wrong. I can travel the world, and if I was wrong about that, then I was also probably wrong about everything else.

I've always been grateful for the privileges I've had, but now I really, really see it.

And I hope to give the same opportunities to others one day, but that's going to be bit farther into the future. First, I'm exploring Europe! 🎉
